Chemistry Rules Interface (Cheshire)Chemistry Rules Interface is in some way a program that drives a structure editor. Imagine, how you can manipulate a structure in ISIS/Draw. You can change the appearance of groups, rotate the structure, so the steroid building block is always oriented properly, mark certain groups, etc. There are basically two kinds of users for Chemistry Rules Interface. The first group are people that need to standardize the appearance of structures in an in-house database. The second group of people manipulates structures to get some more insight about properties. They see if structures are "drug-like", or use MDL® Chemistry Rules Interface to find pharmacophores. Download the article "MDL Software Simplifies Pharmacophore Development". . |
